About Us
The Woodland Park Community Cupboardas mission is to help families and individuals in need, residing in Teller/ Ute Pass/Park county and surrounding areas, by supplying them with five to seven days of emergency food when no other means of support are available. We are more than just a food pantry, we help build on inner confidence one person at a time!
Did you know over 69% of all students attending Victor Cripple Creek Schools are on free/reduced meals, over 32% in Woodland Park Schools, 23% Ute Pass area, and 38% in Park County? This means the one meal these kids get at school might be the only meal they get that day. During the summer months they may go hungry! This thought keeps us up at night!
Here at the Community Cupboard Food Pantry our goal is to make sure that in our community NO ONE ever goes to bed hungry, scared, or forgotten. While we have served over 48% of our families that had children ages 0-18 with our outreaches the sad fact is that over 52% of our families were unable to utilize our program and still went to bed hungry most nights, during a time when children should be enjoying the carefree life their age brings.
Your generous donation will go a long way to helping us fight child and adult hunger in Teller, Park, JeffCO, El Paso counties and the Ute Pass area. In fact, with your gift, we will be able to provide healthy meals to undernourished children and adults as well as ensuring an appreciation the adage aIt Takes A Villagea to aRaise Community Awareness!a
Thank you! You have made a real difference in the lives of so many! Thanks to you, Hunger will not win tonight - Not on aOur Watch!a
