Bayou Farm

We raise livestock on pasture using a holistic farm model. Our primary product is grass-fed lamb, but we also sell pastured pork, pastured eggs, pastured chicken and heritage breed turkey. The animals rotate through our pastures in a complementary cycle that makes the best use of pasture plants and nutrient cycling. We do not feed our animals antibiotics, growth stimulants, or other chemicals. We process all poultry on the farm in our state-inspected facility, and we bring our lambs and pigs to Eunice Superette, a state-inspected slaughter house only 20 minutes from the farm. We sell at the Horse Farm Market in Lafayette on Saturday mornings and at the Freetown Farmer's Market in Lafayette on Wednesday afternoons. We also sell on the farm and welcome you to visit us.
