Established in 1987, and selling year round since 1994, Freight Station Farmers Market is historic Winchesters oldest continuously operating farmers market. With all produce and meats grown within a 50 mile radius, Freight Station Farmers Market defines what is truly local. Our growers raise tree fruits, multiple berry varieties, vegetables from asparagus to zucchini, pastured beef, pork and poultry, mushrooms, cut flowers, vegetable and flowering plants, and Christmas trees. Value added products include preserves, eggs, honey, baked goods, apple cider and fruit juices, soup and gelato, all made by the individual vendor. A special feaure of the market is wildcaught Alaskan fish, sourced through a family member. From January through Christmas, you will always find fresh, local ingredients for your homecooked feast.
